The performance figures are as impressive as the design is breathtaking.  The Bentley  GT V8 delivers maximum power of 500bhp at 6000 rev/min. This exhilarating performance and effortless power equates  to the 8 speed automatic transmission achieving 0-100km/h (0-60mph) in sub 5 second times, with a breathtaking top speed of over 290 km/h (180 mph).

However, in an effort to assuage those environmentally minded millionaires (they do exist!) Bentley wants the world to know that this new power-train delivers a 40% improvement in fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions. It’s not exactly an electric car yet, but it’s good to see such a determined move in the right direction.
