A taste for Taste Champagne

It’s official – Australia has a taste for champagne. Actually more like a thirst with 8.53 million bottles popped in 2017 making us the fastest growing of champagne’s top ten markets. And for both aficionados and newbies, there is no better place to learn a little and sip a little than Taste Champagne.

Australia’s biggest Champagne event is also the world’s biggest: Taste Champagne is back in 2018 with a record 81 Champagne houses and 267 cuvées to taste. Taste Champagne celebrates the diversity of Champagne, with drops from thirty-seven villages across the Marne, Sézanne, Aube and Montgueux and twenty-nine new estates never before seen at Taste Champagne. Vintage, Non-Vintage, rosé, prestige and wines from growers and co-operatives will all be showcased.

Hosted by Tyson Stelzer, International Wine & Spirit Communicator of the Year, tickets are in hot demand for this year’s events. With a palate that is second to none, he shares his passion for both vintage and non-vintage bubbles in a way that we can all understand.
