We all enjoy a long weekend. But if food is the centre of your universe, the Noosa Eat & Drink Festival is your favourite getaway from the everyday. The Festival returns to Noosa from Thursday 10 – Sunday 13 June 2021 for four days of eating, drinking, learning and having fun like we used to.
After a year we’d all rather forget the anticipation for a long weekend of fine food and drink is feverish with some events already sold out.
Down on the farm to bubbly brunches
Long lunches, bubbly brunches and ‘down on the farm’ events with a star-studded line-up of celebrity chefs will keep the Noosa Eat & Drink weekend buzzing. Just some of the chefs dishing the delicious include Matt Moran, Colin Fassnidge, Justin North and Adam D’Sylva.
Local legend Andrea Ravezzani has assembled Luca Ciano, Gabriele Taddeucci and Adriano Zumbo for a very special (now sold-out) Henschke 5-course lunch at his stunning Noosa Waterfront Restaurant.
If you missed tickets for the legendary opening party there are more events scheduled ‘under the tipis’ on Main Beach. The Sunday Session means you can slurp oysters with your toes in the sand from 11 am. Or at 4 pm dance the night away with a ‘Festival Sundowner’ of live music, cool cocktails and delicious bites.
Eat & Drink local
Local producers, distillers and brewers are all playing host to very different events. Noosa Beer Meets Noosa Chocolate on Thursday at 6 pm at Land & Sea Brewery & Distillery. There’s Berry Fundays Saturday and Sunday at Cooloola Berries Farm to pick your own and indulge in all things berry.
The Chefs Kitchen presented by Olsson’s Salts will give you insider tips from your favourite celebrity chef. A full program of cooking demonstrations by Adriana Zumbo, Anna Polyviou and Kirsten Tibballs will give each audience member sweet inspiration. Over Saturday and Sunday, The Chefs Kitchen will be housed in a grand marquee nestled on the water’s edge overlooking the Noosa River.
… And if you need to rest your head during Noosa Eat & Drink, we’ve found the perfect location.
Emerald Noosa Resort – it’s a gem
While I don’t want to sound like a real estate agent, it is all about the location when you arrive at Emerald Noosa Resort. Mere steps from Noosa’s Main Beach, Hastings street’s renowned restaurants and boutique shopping it really is Noosa Central.
Explore the apartment panoramas – and room to relax (click the scene with your mouse and scroll to view each room)

Perfectly positioned in Hastings Street it ensures a relaxed holiday. Interstate arrivals don’t need a car if their holiday checklist includes beach, dining and chilling.
Emerald Noosa has been built for those who want a luxurious and comfortable stay and don’t want to think too hard about anything; be it the next cocktail or sunset stroll or dinner reservations.
Walk off the street past reception and immediately hit holiday mode. An oasis of lush rainforest and watercourses surround the large, heated pool, spa and sauna area. Gentling falling water is the only sound you hear. Tranquil and surprisingly serene.
Designed for both families and couples – all the apartments at Emerald Noosa are generous. Our two-bedroom apartment was contemporary but not design-driven. It’s all about getting into holiday mode immediately.
Days are best started early; the beach is irresistible and silvery at dawn. And, what says holiday more than catching up with the weekend papers and a cuppa after an early morning swim in your sumptuous bed? Beds are king, dressed in crisp cotton and made for a nana nap.
Bathrooms feel more like a day spa. Ideal for pampering and dreaming.
While a Noosa holiday usually involves more dining out than in, our sparkling, expansive kitchen means we didn’t have to leave home for smashed avo on toast. Or gin and tonics.
If the beach is calling the Emerald Noosa Resort is the place to be. Where better to Noosa Eat & Drink?
