Dancing like nobody’s watching. So Noosa Eat & Drink Festival’s Autumn Fare is perfectly timed for the food-obsessed, the wine and cocktail aficionados and those who just love to have fun.

The Noosa Eat & Drink Festival 2021 has one mantra: ‘more events, more often’. Or, in other words – More events = more eating + more drinking. They have started the year with a couple of sell-out events and there’s much more to come in June.

Eat and drink your way from the beach to the hinterland

Noosa Eat & Drink Autumn Fare is a collection of boutique events from cocktail masterclasses to delicious degustation dinners dished up by our most loved chefs to taste discovery tours. From March 12-14, take your tastebuds on holiday to relish some Noosa flavour.

QLD HERITAGE DINNER AT THE VIEW

For one night only, local chef extraordinaire Matt Golinski is sharing the kitchen with Ecco Brisbane’s Philip Johnson, Peppers’s Noosa Resort’s Andy Wilcox and the legendary Gillian Hirst.

Expect an epicurean extravaganza, fabulous food, wonderful wine and a reflection of how far fine dining has come. These four chefs love nothing more than delighting guests with their culinary magic.

XO GOES TO TASSIE – EMBASSY XO

Been a while since you’ve been to Tassie. This four-course lunch brings the tastiest bits of Tassie to Sunshine Beach’s Embassy XO.

Wines are courtesy of Red + White, and Travis Watson will introduce each superb Tasmanian drop. Think Hervey Bay Scallops to Noosa Red Tomatoes – all given that signature Embassy XO twist.

CELEBRATION OF QLD – LOCALE

Harrison’s Restaurant Port Douglas has given Chef Spencer Patrick a leave pass for the weekend to join Locale’s Chef Chris Hagan for a very special lunch.

After a welcome cocktail guests will be treated to a four-course menu served with matching wines.

From Noosa, you’ll wind your way through the Hinterland to Gympie Railway Station for a lunch of seasonal and local produce, beer and cider. Meet the Mary Valley growers over lunch before hitching a ride on the Red Rocket Train to Dagun Station for local cheese and wine. Then it’s onto Amamoor for regional strawberries and chocolate.

Saturday 13 March, 10.00 am – 4.00 pm

Includes: Return transfers from Noosa, Lunch with a choice of beer, cider or wine. Red Rocket rail experience from Gympie to Amamoor, stopping at Dagun for a cheese and wine tasting with chocolate and strawberries at Amamoor.

LICOR 43 COCKTAIL MASTERCLASS AT RACV NOOSA RESORT

Love an Espresso Martini but never quite mastered one at home? This is your chance to learn with Mark Hickey, National Spirits Ambassador for Spirits Platform. Mark will guide each and every guest through all the subtle artistry of crafting the perfect Espresso Martini as well as their simple signature Carajillo 43 and some at-home cocktail wizardry.
