Now everyone can make the most of their time in the lap of luxury.
TML recently visited the Brisbane International Plaza Premium Lounge as guests before jetting off to the US. The lounge is sleek with Australian contemporary styling from Mitchel Squires & Associates. Natural timbers (and trees) divide the space into work, relaxation and dining zones.
The lounge was busy without queues or noise. Perhaps not as glamorous as some of the airline’s designer first or business lounges it still offered all the comforts to make boarding an international flight less stressful.
It was a little early for the Wellness Spa but there are countless opportunities to reward yourself with a little extra pampering from massages to manicures. The Brisbane lounge uses the Jasmin Organics range of aromatherapy products for a little tranquil indulgence before the flight. (These services are at an extra charge.
Complimentary Wi-Fi means you can catch up on your emails, double-check your itinerary or see who’s doing what on Facebook. The honeycomb seating offers extra privacy for solo travellers.
You can recharge your phone while enjoying a newspaper or magazine. Or get the party started before you fly with a glass of Tempus Two Pinot Chardonnay bubbles.
The morning buffet had a number of juices and healthy options including fruit, yoghurt and Bircher muesli pots. There are eggs, sausages and crust-less quiche. There’s real coffee served with a smile unlike some of the fancier airline lounges.
