The Brisbane Hilton has been a retreat in the middle of the city for both locals and travellers for nearly 30 years. Overlooking the Queen Street Mall, the Hilton is just steps away from all the pulse-quickening action and still a retreat from all the hustle and bustle.

Some days the best way to get away from it all can mean escaping to the city for the weekend. Shopping, idling on the river and relaxing over a delicious tipple can be as restorative as a weekend in the country.

But a staycation must tick all the boxes to really restore and rejuvenate.

Luxurious rooms. Check. Award-winning restaurant. Check. And now a glamorous new rooftop pool and tennis court have just been added to further enhance your stay at Brisbane Hilton.

With Brisbane Winter afternoon temperatures regularly reaching over 24 degrees – overseas and southern guests often say ‘what winter?’ The stylish Pool Terrace is the spot to best enjoy the river city’s endless summer. You can take in the bustling Mall below, relax with a few laps and enjoy a cocktail with room service just a call away.

Italian company Myrtha Pools was founded in 1961 in Castiglione delle Stiviere (MN Italy). Their use of technology and design places them a few laps ahead of the competition (pun intended) So good are they that their pools have been chosen for such prestigious events as World Swimming Championships and Olympic Games. Hilton Brisbane thought it was time this level of expertise was brought to the inner city. So, Myrtha was commissioned to design the ‘Ferrari of Pools’… although it could be said that it’s a design that is less about speed and more about comfort.

Needless to say, it’s heated.
