Chef Anthony Hales opened Salon de Co at the Ovolo Inchcolm in April with a menu of big flavours and a surprise dessert twist – carrot/walnut/sour cream. This Magnificent Life was there.

This little bit of naughtiness is courtesy of Chef David Tsirekas at Nostimo at Brisbane institution The Greek Club. A combo of chips, grated kaseri cheese, oregano and a fried egg. Nostimo! It’s Greek for tasty.

Jet was recovering at the Cairns Turtle Rehabilitation Centre on Fitzroy Island after swallowing a plastic bag. This Magnificent Life got to know Jet before he was happily released back to the Coral Sea.

Melbourne’s National Gallery of Victoria wowed us again with the international blockbuster exhibition “MoMA at NGV: 130 Years of Modern and Contemporary Art”.
