We don’t usually mention prices here on ThisMagnificentLife. We reason you can find pricing on the websites (which we always include) of any destination/hotel/cruise/airline we feature. But, there’s nothing usual about travel right now. The double whammy of the bushfires and COVID-19 aka Coronavirus has left the travel industry near and far, scrambling.
The irony is as the major cruise lines are extending their Australian season for at least 60 days due to repositioning from Asia, the winners could be some of the towns hardest hit by our summer of fires. Eden on NSW’s far South Coast will host 9 different ships between now and Christmas, bringing welcome visitors and dollars.
It’s time to take up Tourism Australia’s call to #holidayherethisyear with #emptyeskys. Why not #stayinthebush? Check out all the state tourism bureaus websites for info and deals.

If you choose to holiday OS, the airline deals are starting to trickle in. Industry experts believe the bargains will get better after Easter.
Here are just some of the deals that have hit our inbox in the last day or two.
